About Our Organization

The Canadian Blind Cricket Association is the first and only organization in Canada dedicated exclusively to promoting, organizing, and developing the sport of blind cricket for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. As a nonprofit association, we are committed to creating inclusive and accessible opportunities in Canada, enabling people with vision loss to enjoy the excitement, challenge, and camaraderie that cricket offers.

We believe in the power of sport to build confidence, teamwork, resilience, and social connection. By adapting the game with appropriate equipment and rules that account for visual impairment, blind cricket becomes more than a sport— it becomes a platform for empowerment, inclusion, and athletic achievement.

Blind cricket is played under internationally recognized rules that promote fairness, safety, and inclusion.

Additionally, Canadian Blind Cricket Association is committed to connecting with the global blind-cricket community. We coordinate with international blind-cricket bodies to open pathways for Canadian players to represent Canada in global competitions, bringing visibility to Canadian blind athletes on the world stage.

We welcome players, volunteers, supporters, and partners — anyone who believes in inclusion, equity, and the spirit of cricket. Together we will build a vibrant blind-cricket community in Canada, proving that visual impairment is not a barrier but a different way to play.
